Thanks to Mexico&#8217;s lax safety standards, 35 children were killed in a daycare fire yesterday.  The daycare is housed in a former warehouse with only a few small inaccessible windows and only one exit. A mere six adults work at the state-run daycare which can legally accommodate up to 190 children.

<p>Mexico has a long history of large death tolls due to it&#8217;s obvious disdain for safety. Why worry about a pandemic when they kill helpless children by essentially trapping them in a burning warehouse with only one way out?</p>
